About RBR
At RBR, we’ve been making waves - since 1973! We create cutting-edge instruments that explore the most remote parts of our planet, from the crushing depths of the ocean to the icy reaches of the poles. Whether it’s tracking water temperature, salinity, or pH, our technology helps scientists gather the vital data they need to fight climate change and uncover the secrets of our blue planet. We’re proud to partner with world-class organizations like Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Woods Hole, the Scripps Institution, and the British Antarctic Survey to support their groundbreaking research and discovery.
What makes RBR truly special is our people! We’re a team of passionate problem-solvers who care about our work, the planet, and each other. We value teamwork, curiosity, and having fun along the way - whether that’s solving tough challenges or sharing laughs over Friday lunches. Ready to make waves with us? Apply below!
About the role
Do you love taking complex technical details and turning them into crystal-clear, user-friendly content? In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for crafting the "single source of truth" for our products - ensuring documentation that’s accurate, thorough, and engaging. Working closely with our support and technical teams, you’ll bridge our cutting-edge oceanographic technology with the people who use it every day. If you’re a curious, detail-loving storyteller with a knack for simplifying the complicated, we’d love to have you onboard. Let’s create amazing things together!
What you’ll do
Bring clarity to complexity by crafting technical documentation (like user guides, manuals, and data sheets) that’s as easy to navigate as it is engaging.
Design documentation structures that make finding answers a breeze for our users.
Dive deep into our products by collaborating with engineers, designers, and developers to truly understand how they work.
Gather feedback from technical experts and customers to ensure every piece of content is as polished as it is practical.
Collaborate with teams across RBR to continuously improve existing content and deliver new materials on time.
Infuse an RBR personality and clarity into everything you write, turning technical details into something enjoyable to read.
